LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville car dealership celebrated the grand opening of its new location with a community event Friday afternoon.

Oxmoor Hyundai and Genesis welcomed more than 300 guests to their new location at 2125 Blankenbaker Parkway during a 3 to 5 p.m. event.

Speakers included Mayor Craig Greenberg dealership leadership along with representatives from Louisville’s Korean American community.

The celebration featured traditional fan dances, a lion dance and a K-pop performance. Guest also enjoyed a tea ceremony during the reception.

Del Farmer, President of Oxmoor Auto Group, said their employees pride themselves on displaying a transparent and customer-friendly buying experience. He added he's excited for customers to get a chance to see some high-end vehicles.

"We feel like we compete at the highest level," Farmer said. "And all the customer touchpoints are well thought out and we can't wait to have people come out to see it. I think we're going to make an impact."

Oxmoor Auto Group operates six primary new-car dealerships in Louisville along Shelbyville Road and Blakenbaker Parkway.
