LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people were killed in a plane crash Saturday morning near Nicholasville, Kentucky.
According to the Jessamine County Sheriff's Office, emergency units responded to a possible plane crash off KY 169 between U.S. 27 and U.S. 68 about 8:46 a.m.
Police said authorities found a "small aircraft that had in fact crashed."
In a social media post, the National Transportation Safety Board said it was investigating the CA6-WB crash.
The Jessamine County Sheriff's Office confirmed that two people died in the crash.
It is unknown at this time how the crash happened.
