LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) āĀ Seven candidates running for Louisville mayor will outline their positions for voters at a public forum next week, as the city prepares for its first nonpartisan mayoral race with 11 candidates in the field.
The forum is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Central High School's auditorium. It will be hosted by a number of community and civic organizationsĀ such as the Louisville Urban League, the NAACP Louisville Branch and the League of Women Voters.
The moderated forum will feature a Q&A and give the candidates a chance to outline their campaigns to the Louisville community, with topics including housing and homelessness, public safety, jobs and the economy, education, and environmental justice and healthy neighborhoods.
"There are a lot of people to choose from, and we want voters to be able to make the most informed decision possible," said Lyndon Prior, president and CEO of the Louisville Urban League. "We want them to know where candidates stand on really important issues."
Of the 11 candidates in the field, the following confirmed their participation:

- Bob Devore
- Bill Wells
- Jeffrey Yokum
- S. DatilloĀ
Incumbent Mayor Craig Greenberg is seeking reelection but is not participating in the forum.
