LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police arrested two juvenile males after they were found with a firearm in a south Louisville neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
According to Louisville Metro Police, Fourth Division officers responded around 4:30 p.m. to a report of juvenile males with a gun near Bellevue and Brentwood avenues.
Police said witnesses saw the two juveniles showing a firearm to other young people in the area.
Officers located the suspects nearby and arrested them after a brief foot pursuit.
The two juveniles were taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Youth Detention Center.Â
The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.
