LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Goodwood Brewing and Spirits shut down two of its Louisville taprooms as the company faces multiple lawsuits and potential ownership changes, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The company closed its East Main Street NuLu location and its West Main Street downtown taproom earlier this week.
LBF reports the closures come as Goodwood deals with financial challenges, including lawsuits from investors, vendors and landlords claiming unpaid rent, services and taxes.
The company’s Whiskey Row location is permanently closed, while the NuLu taproom could potentially reopen under new ownership, according to the owner.
The situation comes as the brewery works through financial and legal pressures that include ongoing disputes with multiple parties.
