Ever since she took her first speech class in middle school and several journalism classes in high school, Valerie Chinn knew she wanted to pursue a career in journalism and later narrowed that down to TV.
She joined WDRB in June 2001 and anchors WDRB News at Noon and is a WDRB Investigates reporter.
She's a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism and has won Edward R. Murrow Awards and several Emmy awards. She is a West Coast native and grew up in Beaverton, Oregon.
Valerie loves to spend time with her family and travel the world.
