Road collapse in Jeffersontown

The city of Jeffersontown said the road on Plantside Drive in Jeffersontown Commerce Park collapsed due to an undermined pipe.

A spokesperson for the Louisville Water Company said its pipe below the road didn't cause the collapse, and its crew is on scene checking if the main is damaged. There's no impact to water service as of this writing.

A spokesperson for Jeffersontown's Public Works said an emergency ordinance was passed Tuesday night to get repairs in the hand of a contractor as soon as possible.

Jeffersontown Commerce Park is still fully accessible despite the road collapse.
