LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man died after a shooting near a Louisville club late Saturday night.
Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to Club Cedar at 11:45 p.m. on a reported shooting.
Police found a man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to UofL Hospital with critical injuries and later died Sunday morning.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim on Monday as 45-year-old Andrew Cochran.
On Sunday morning, Louisville Metro ABC issued an emergency suspension order for Club Cedar.Â

LMABC issued this statement:
"Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control has issued an Emergency Suspension Order for Club Cedar following a shooting that occurred at the establishment last night. Our thoughts are with the victim and his family during this difficult time. The incident remains under investigation in coordination with LMPD.
Metro ABC will continue to act swiftly when public safety is at risk and work collaboratively under Mayor Greenberg’s Safe Louisville Plan to address businesses and conditions that endanger the safety of our community."
