LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police continues to crack down on illegal street racing across the city.Â
The department posted photos on social media Saturday about the recent seizure of four vehicles at Cox's Park off River Road under the 2022 street racing ordinance.
Officers seized a motorcycle, two cars, and an all-terrain vehicle.
LMPD said technology and officers being visible in the community are contributing to the successful crackdown.
If you're caught street racing, you will be hit with a $1,000 fine and LMPD will impound your vehicle for six months.
