LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Kentucky man was arrested Thursday on sexual misconduct with a minor charges following an Indiana State Police investigation.

According to a release from ISP, 22-year-old Kyle Bradley Sonner, of Campbellsburg, Kentucky, was taken into custody in Clarksville.

ISP said the investigation began May 6 after the Indiana Department of Child Services reported possible sexual contact between an adult and a minor that happened in October 2025.

According to Sonner's Probable Cause Affidavit, he and a 15-year-old girl were at a mutual friend's graduation party in Borden last October when they allegedly had sexual intercourse.

During a police interview earlier this month, the girl told police she was drinking at the party, and Sonner gave her a "slushie drink" with alcohol.

The girl also told police she and Sonner had been talking online since she was 14 years old, and that he knew her age, and "didn't seem to care," the affidavit said.

Following the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Sonner. He faces two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, both Level 4 felonies.

Sonner is due in court on June 3 at 9:30 a.m.
