LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man accused of engaging in sexual acts with his dog will have his case sent to a grand jury.
39-year-old Chris Gallagher appeared in court Wednesday where Jefferson County District Court judge Kristina Garvey ruled there was enough evidence to move the case forward.
According to court documents, 39-year-old Christopher Gallagher was arrested June 5 and charged with sexual crimes against animals and tampering with physical evidence.
When someone couldn’t get in touch with Gallagher, documents said, she checked the home security cameras and saw him engaging in a sexual act with the dog, court documents claim.
Police said the witness took screenshots of the incident and confronted Gallagher, which led to him deleting the security camera footage.
Gallagher pleaded not guilty at his arraignment June 6 and posted a $10,000 bond. His case will go to the grand jury the week of July 27th.
