LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police arrested two Louisville men after recovering 48 firearms from a recent reported burglary.

Louisville Metro Police said in a social media post it arrested 37-year-old Daniel Vincent and 36-year-old Andrew Huffman April 22 in connection to the burglary.

According to court documents, Vincent and three other individuals committed the burglary April 20 in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.

They planned the break-in over multiple days after seeing firearms in the window, the arrest citation claims.

The four people then showed up at Huffman's house after committing the burglary to dispose of the firearms in the garage, according to the citation. Huffman then hid the firearms in various rooms around the house.

Officers arrested Huffman after finding 39 of the stolen firearms at his residence. Vincent was arrested shortly after at a residence off Dixie Highway, where police said they discovered other firearms involved in the burglary.

Huffman was charged with first degree burglary and receiving stolen property.

Vincent was charged with receiving stolen property, along with engaging in organized crime.

Both were arraigned in court April 25 and have preliminary hearings scheduled May 4. Their bonds were set at $10,000.
