LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One man was killed and a woman and two juveniles were seriously injured in a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Meade County.
According to Kentucky State Police, officers responded around 3:27 p.m. to Bypass Road near High Street for a reported crash.
KSP said a vehicle, driven by 34-year-old Dustin Farmer of Central, Indiana, was traveling north on Bypass Road when it crossed into the center turn lane and into the path of a pickup truck, causing the two vehicles to collide head-on.
Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman driving the truck was flown to UofL Hospital with serious injuries.
Two juvenile passengers in the car with Farmer were also seriously injured, police said, and they were taken to UofL Hospital and Norton Children's Hospital.
KSP said the investigation is ongoing.
