LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Cherokee Triangle neighborhood transformed into a vibrant outdoor gallery Saturday as hundreds of artists and visitors gathered for one of the city’s longest-running art events.

More than 200 artists displayed work ranging from paintings and sculptures to glass art and handmade jewelry, filling the streets with color and creativity. Crowds moved from booth to booth while meeting artists and exploring unique pieces.

Food trucks lined nearby streets, and interactive art stations gave children a chance to create their own work, adding to the event’s family-friendly atmosphere.

The Cherokee Triangle Art Fair dates back to 1972 and remains a staple of Louisville’s spring season, drawing both local and national artists each year.

Organizers say the event creates a space where artists can connect directly with the community and showcase their work in an accessible setting.

The free festival will continue 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, giving visitors another opportunity to experience the event.
