LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died Friday in a crash on Hamburg Pike in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The Jeffersonville Police Department said on Facebook that officers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 5800 block of Hamburg Pike in the early morning hours.

Investigators said the driver was speeding down the road when he crashed into a concrete culvert and rolled over.

Police said the driver, a 35-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle. Officers immediately began life-saving efforts until EMS arrived. The driver was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died.

Jeffersonville police said a blood toxicology analysis has been requested and this is an ongoing investigation.

A second crash happened immediately after due to debris in the roadway. No injuries were reported in that incident.
